I AM FREE
Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me
I took His hand when I heard Him call
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, to laugh,
to love, to work or play.
Tasks undone must stay that way
I've found that peace at the close of the day.
If parting has left a void, then fill it
with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah, yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow
I wish for you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much
Good friends, good times,
a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me,
God wants me now, He set me free.
Christy,There are so many memories we all shared with you. Too many to mention. I will miss not being able to hang with you and your family like when we were kids. I will always cherish those days. I hope you have found peace and pray that you continue to watch over us all. Until we meet again little angel.
when i was little me and aunt christy used to go to the store with my ma and drive hr nuts!! wed go into the clothes racks and hide, we would run around the store screaming just bein goof balls it would embarrass mom so bad but she never got mad cuz she knew it kept me happy, my aunt was my best friend i could tell her anything and she wouldnt tell anyone no matter what.
When we was lil girls I was in awe of how fearless and brave you was with everything. You was my lil sister but at times seemed that you was the older one. Always looking out for me and protecting me when need be. I remember when mom would chase me around trying to take my blood cuz of my anemia. I was so scared of needles and there you would be saying, "Carolyn watch it doesnt hurt" and you would let mom draw ur blood just to show me it would be ok. I will forever miss you Christy. It gives me comfort that you are now at peace and in no more pain. I know grandma is wrapping her arms around you. Your memory will always live on in ur children and our memories. I love you.
