Christy Marie Wilson - Online Memorial Website

Born on January 31, 1972 in Garden City Hospital to Serina and David.

Christy was born and raised in Garden City Michigan. She lived with her mom at her grandparents house on John Hauk till she was 10 years old then moved just down the street from her grandparents. Christy was always very close to her grandmother Violet who was like a 2nd mom to her. Grandma always called her her baby and when we was little would call her Christopher. (I dont think Christy ever really liked that name) But she would have never told grandma that.  She attended Memorial Elementary School then Garden City Junior High School. She never did graduate from High School but would have been the Garden City class of 1992.

 

Christy gave birth to her first child Brittney Marie Wilson on April 22, 1989 at St Josephs Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan. Christy had her at the tender age of 15. Our mother helped in raising Brittney.

Christy was the first one to see her nephew Henry Clinton Beebe IV after he was born August 12, 1991.  She also became his godmother July 12,1992.  She adored her nephew as he adored her. They was very close.

Christys baby sister Sara Clarice Long was born September 27, 1991. Christy helped mom take care of Sara. She nicknamed her fatty.

Christy gave birth to her second child Shawna Marie Wilson on June 2, 1992 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan. Shawna was a premie and had to be in the hospital for several weeks. I remember the day Christy brought her home still on a feeding tube and oh so tiny. She fondly called her bird. She said her lil nose reminded her of a lil birdie.

Christy gave birth to her third child Christina Elizabeth Wilson on Nov 23, 2001 at St Josephs Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor Michigan. Christy and Christina had a special relationship. She called her her snuggle bug, ninny, poopaninny and pooperscooper (Which Christina has said she really didnt like lol) and her special nickname Wiggleworm. Christina was her mommys big girl. Christina has told me here recently how they would wait for Patrick to go to bed so her and mommy could have a big girls movie night. They would pop popcorn and snuggle in bed and watch a movie.

Christy gave birth to her last child Patrick David Wilson on May 6,2004 at Garden City Hospital Garden City Michigan. I was fortunate enough that my sister allowed me to be there for the birth of my only nephew. She called him her lil boy,  her handsome boy and bubba. He loved to go fishing with mommy and occasionally they would have a mommy and big boy movie night. He loved those!

Passed away on September 19, 2010 tragically after being hit by multiple cars on I-75.
